Join in on the Fun this Summer at R+T Park

Warm summer days have arrived, and we’re excited to be part of the fun happening in the David Johnston Research and Technology Park. Our annual beer gardens, sports leagues, weekly food trucks and the launch of ION light rail, the next few months will give you plenty of reasons to escape your desk.

R+T Park Beer Gardens

The annual beer gardens, with R+T Park and Block Three, are back this summer! Wrap up the week and grab a glass to celebrate with us. Beverages are provided by Block Three and KW Craft Cider, with food details announced closer to the date. Follow us on Twitter, @thecoragroup and our friends @rtparkuw for more information.

ION Light Rail Services Launches June 21

ION light rail service starts June 21 and service on GRT will be free system-wide from June 21 to July 1. Be sure to hop on at the Research and Technology stop for your very first train ride. See all the details about the free service for ION launch from GRT, and reference the ION route map to plan your route!

Beach Volleyball, Soccer and Slo-Pitch leagues

This year there’s a sports league for everyone with beach volleyball, soccer and slo-pitch to choose from! All games happen in R+T Park and the nearby Columbia Icefields and offer a great way to get outside and connect with the park community. Leagues run from May-August, and you can find all the details from R+T park.
